Trump UAE Visit

As Trump heads back to Washington DC after a “historic” three-country Gulf tour, let’s take a look at everything that took place during his visit to the UAE.

• Held strategic talks with the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.Met with US and Emirati business leaders at a US-UAE Business Council event.
• Toured the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Abrahamic Family House, praising their symbolism and architecture.
• Awarded the UAE’s highest civilian honour, the Order of Zayed, by the UAE President.

These meetings resulted in deals and investment pledges worth billions of dollars, here’s a snapshot of the same:

1. UAE committed $1.4 trillion to the US AI sector, including a massive data center project in Abu Dhabi.

2. Over $200 billion of commercial deals took place, including:

• Etihad Airways’ $14.5 billion aircraft order from Boeing/GE
• Emirates Global Aluminum’s investment to develop a $4 billion primary aluminum smelter project in Oklahoma
• A preliminary agreement for the UAE to import 500,000 Nvidia AI chips annually.
